![]() ![]() Awkward to use, doesn't heal that much and toxic damage is a joke against anything larger than a clot. Mine Reconstructor, arguably one of the worst weapons in the game. Definitely not viable for high difficulty games, but if you and the squad just want to ♥♥♥♥ around it's in a much better place than it was at launch. Minigun, a joke weapon that's actually maybe alright now. If you enjoy weapon switching and a gun that only truly excels at killing clots and crawlers (still needing 3 and 2 body shots respectively) then a single glock can be an alright secondary for trash clearing while leaving plenty space for more dedicated large zed killers. Glocks, for the Gunslinger who actually wanted to play SWAT. Shotgun fire makes for funny Scrake takedowns too. Obscene damage potential with a bit of a learning curve, get used to the release timing and you can bowl over even FPs with relative ease. Feels more like a goofy weapon for a self-imposed challenge, not really been able to make it work myself. Compound Bow, extremely awkward weapon for a fast-paced horde shooter. Pretty much a worse Bastion in most regards, but your frontal damage reduction isn't on a timer and has pistol reload speeds. Riot Shield and Glock, the very definition of mid. ![]() In terms of damage it sits pretty comfortably between M14/FN and Railgun, but lacks the fire rate of the former or the target killer potential of the latter. ![]() Mosin Nagant, a solid generalist weapon sandwiched between two much better specialists. Shrapnel deals a lot of combined damage (75 bullet + 3x 80 shrapnel), crowdclear of a shotgun while maintaining pinpoint accuracy on headshots. Charging your super is kinda slow and awkward when you're dealing with multiple large zeds in succession. Damage is solid but afterburn in general is pretty mid and precision perks will hate your guts. Here's my personal take on each of the weapons from the original armory pass: Zerker does some funny numbers on frozen enemies with melee, and Survivalist gets all of the melee expert bonuses while holding the weapon (through bonus damage still only applies to the melee attack). Indeed none are pay to win, though the Frost Fang is a great utility weapon. ![]()
